We are excited to announce a VERY special event at the Byrd Park Pump House. Admission will be limited and tickets will be sold in advance only. Full details announced July 15th. Ticket sales begin September 1st.The historic Byrd Park Pump House was constructed between 1881-1883 and is located at the Three-Mile Locks of the James River and Kanawha Canal in Richmond, Virginia. The downstairs contained a water-powered pumping station, while the upstairs featured a large open-air pavilion that hosted lavish events and dances until the mid-1920’s.

CRAVE
What if, in one moment, you had changed your mind during your journey. And if so, how would that change affect the final outcome? For the dance, the audience will witness one outcome, and then switch sides during intermission to experience the other. CRAVE set to an original score by Billy Curry, originally premiered in the FALL of 2019 with rave reviews throughout Virginia and Pennsylvania.
2ND Week/ APril 7th, 8Th & 9th 2022
Bridge & The APOLOGY (premiere)
The second week of the festival will feature 2 works by Artistic Director Starrene Foster. On the program will be BRIDGE (rework); A dance celebrating how friendships play out during a card game that goes very wrong. Also on the program is the premiere of The APOLOGY, set to an original score by Daniel Deckelman.
